Jay Dickens Powers Rick Eckert to WoO Title
Aberdeen, MS (11/08/11) –Jay
Dickens Racing Engines (JDRE) is proud to be a part of the winning team
that powered York, Pennsylvania's Rick Eckert to the 2011 World of
Outlaws Super Late Model Championship in his #24 Bloomquist/Jay Dickens
Racing Engines Super Late Model. The title was his first with the tour, and the third national title during the course of his career. He claimed three wins on the tour in 2011 and four wins overall.
Bub McCool from
Vicksburg, Mississippi scored his biggest win of the year by piloting
his #57J Victory Circle/JDRE-powered Super Late Model to the $7,000 win
in the 5th Annual Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Speedway (Greenville,
Mississippi). He also set fast time in the event. The victory was his third overall of the season.
Two weeks ago Scott
James closed out his 2011 season with a $5,000 triumph in the Fall 50
at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) over a talented field of
competitors in his #81 Rocket/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late
Model.
